401 Consignment Terms & Conditions

Welcome to 401 Consignment. By accessing or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These apply to all users, including buyers and consignors (sellers).
FOR BUYERS
1. Product Condition
All items are pre-owned unless explicitly stated otherwise. We strive to accurately describe each item’s condition, but all sales are final. No returns or exchanges unless an item is significantly not as described.
2. Payment
All payments must be made in full at the time of purchase. Accepted payment methods include [insert your options: Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, cash, credit/debit card].
3. Pickup & Delivery
Pickup times and locations will be coordinated after purchase. We do not offer shipping at this time unless otherwise stated. Items must be picked up within 7 days unless prior arrangements are made. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture.
4. No Warranty
401 Consignment is not responsible for manufacturer defects or functional issues of used goods. Items are sold as-is.
FOR SELLERS
1. Intake and Approval
All items must be submitted using the 401 Consignment intake form. We reserve the right to deny any item for any reason including poor condition, low resale value, or ineligible category.
2. Commission Structure
Consignors receive a percentage of the final sale price, based on the item’s listed value:
$30–$80: 50% to consignor
$81–$200: 70% to consignor
$201–$500: 80% to consignor
$501+: 90% to consignor
3. Price Confirmation
You will receive a proposed listing price via email. You must confirm or decline within 48 hours. Unconfirmed items will not be listed.
4. Listing Period & Unsold Items
Items are listed for 60 days. After this period:
You may request to reclaim the item.
If no request is made, the item will be donated or used for marketing/promotional giveaways at 401 Consignment’s discretion.
5. Payouts
Payments are issued within 7 days of a successful sale via your preferred payment method.
It is your responsibility to provide accurate payment information. We are not liable for failed or delayed payments due to incorrect details.
6. Liability
401 Consignment is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage once items are accepted, though we take reasonable care of all inventory.
General Terms
1. Code of Conduct
You agree not to engage in fraudulent activity, harass staff or other users, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.
2. Privacy
Personal information collected through our intake and purchase process will only be used for internal business operations and is never sold to third parties.
3. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
